BBI designed and built a new website to support Hitomi’s growing profile.
The website supported Hitomi through an important period of rapid growth.
Hitomi had already developed specialist products for the broadcast industry.
Hitomi moved on to a specialist broadcast marketing partner as the business matured.
Hitomi came to BBI at the start of 2017. The company had been founded in 2014 and had already developed highly specialist products for the broadcast industry. Its flagship MatchBox technology helps broadcast and professional AV teams measure latency, lip synchronisation and audio coherence across software workflows and hardware infrastructure.
At that stage, the company’s online presence did not yet reflect the quality of its products or the ambition of the business. The founders had created a makeshift website in 2016 to tide them over, but as Hitomi started to gain traction in the outside broadcast market, it needed a more credible, professional and trustworthy website.
BBI designed and built a new website that gave Hitomi a much more respectable and professional digital presence. The aim was not to overcomplicate the site, but to create a clear, confident and credible platform that helped people understand the company, its products and its technical expertise.
Hitomi was already building awareness by attending industry events and speaking to people across the outside broadcast sector. The new website meant that when those people looked up the company online, they found a smart, reliable and professional presence that supported the reputation Hitomi was building in person.

A website that served the company through three years of rapid development and increasing market recognition.
When BBI first met Hitomi, the company was operating from a tiny office above a shop. Meetings took place in one crowded room, perched on stools with laptops balanced on knees and very little elbow room. It was a small, ambitious business with strong products and a clear opportunity.
The website we built supported Hitomi during the period that followed, as the company’s visibility increased and the business grew. After the website launch, Hitomi moved into much larger offices and continued to build its name in the broadcast technology sector.
Hitomi’s success was powered by its own well-designed, well-made products and the expertise of its team. BBI’s role was to give the company a website that supported that success, helping its online presence reflect the quality of the business at an important stage in its development.
By 2020, Hitomi had reached a natural next stage. The company moved on to work with a specialist marketing company focused on the media and broadcast industry, better suited to supporting its next phase of growth. For BBI, the project remains a strong example of how the right website can help a specialist business look credible, trustworthy and ready for bigger opportunities.
